The Canopy

Alita Construction Services is actively engaged in the comprehensive repositioning of a 96-unit multifamily community in Florence, Alabama, formerly known as Southern Oaks Village and being reintroduced as The Canopy. This project represents a full-scale redevelopment effort, transitioning the property from its existing condition into a modern, market-aligned residential community. ACS is providing construction leadership across several phases of the transformation, working closely with ownership to execute a complete asset overhaul.

The scope of work includes full replacement and upgrading of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, along with complete interior renovations across all units featuring new cabinetry, countertops, flooring, lighting, and finishes. Exterior and site improvements are also being implemented to enhance curb appeal, functionality, and overall resident experience. Through structured project management, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination, ACS is delivering a coordinated repositioning strategy that will establish The Canopy as a fully revitalized multifamily community positioned for long-term performance and stability.
